Healthy Cooking Class: Salad That Will Fill You Up

We’re advancing literacy in Show Low in a fun and innovative way, with a fork and a spoon. We’ll show you how to adopt a healthy lifestyle, starting with the kitchen. This year we will be offering live, in-person cooking demonstrations. Participants will cook and eat together in our cheerful library area. Fill your parenting toolbox with valuable tips and tricks. Raising Confident Kids is a series of simple, easy to learn and effective programs for parents/guardians of young children. This program will emphasize early literacy, meaningful play, parent-child engagement demonstrated by library staff. Join us after story time as we cover techniques for introducing STEM concepts to your first reader.
