Millennium 4500, has been in beta testing for 5 months and is now available across North America. It is a one-step product that can be used on presses producing up to 18,000 impressions per hour. It works well with paper, cardboard and non-porous substrates. The product has an exceptional buffer system and has the ability to give the printer a much faster and cleaner color roll, thus avoiding excessive substrate waste. Much of this new and innovative technology consists of unique materials that are not traditionally combined when used in fountain solution formulations. Product development was centered on maximizing the fountain’s performance in an energy-curable environment so that the solution would not interfere with curing. It has also been tested in the conventional ink setting with excellent printing results.
