Landa opens European ink plant, doubling capacity to support growing press sales and exploding print volumes

Rehovot, Israel – Landa Digital Printing today announces the opening of a new European consumables manufacturing plant, based in Sittard, the Netherlands. Producing the revolutionary Landa Nanoink® used to power the Landa S10 and S10P Nanographic Printing® presses, the new facility allows the company to double production of consumables and support the rapid growth in ink demand due to the increased customer print volumes.

By manufacturing in continental Europe, the company has significantly reduced lead times for consumables and increased production capacity. It has also reduced its environmental impact by reducing shipments of raw materials and finished products needed to manufacture its products. Designed to improve its consumables supply chain, the new facility provides state-of-the-art service to its portfolio of European customers and their international brands.

Gil Oron, CEO of Landa Digital Printing comments: “Our new site in Sittard is focused on sustainability, service reliability and business growth. It provides Landa customers with local sourcing, which in these times of very challenging global logistics and parts sourcing provides considerable reassurance. Additionally, with customer production volumes increasing every day, this also ensures fast and reliable delivery, which is crucial for increasing efficiency.

Landa’s new facility provides consumables for its revolutionary and unique portfolio of Nanographic Printing® presses, designed to fill a huge gap in the market for consumer packaging and cost-effective short- to medium-run commercial work. Solutions include the Landa S10 Nanographic Printing® press – a B1 solution designed for the consumer packaging and converting industries – and the Landa S10P Nanographic Printing® press, ideal for general commercial B1 double-sided printing.

Gil Oron, concludes: “Our new European factory is another example of our long-term commitment to the European market and our ability to be the agent of change that the industry needs. Landa continues to revolutionize and digitize the mass production printing industry.
